Student artwork from grades K-12 is displayed at the Professional Development Academy once a year each spring. Teachers select the student art to display from many different visual art mediums - watercolor, pastels, ink art, photography, wood, metals and fabric. The exhibit is open to the public. Opening Reception is Thursday April 11, 2024 from 6-8pm at the PYLUSD Professional Development Academy 4999 Casa Loma, Yorba Linda (on the corner of Yorba Linda Blvd. and Casa Loma)
This program inspires students in Grades 4 - 12 to experiment and grow their confidence, critical thinking, and communications skills through hands-on learning. More learning Labs will be scheduled in Winter 2024 and Spring 2024.
Students engage in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering as they build and code a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of the robot game. Teams also participate in an innovation project to identify and solve a relevant real-world problem.
Based on a theme at each event, our PYL Alumni and a Keynote Speaker will share their experiences, insights and challenges from high school, college and careers to engage, inspire and enrich PYL students, especially high school and middle school students. Watch the 10th From the Inside Event!
